Accounting Apps and add-ons

As well as the open banking tools, there are many hundreds of other products which can integrate with your accounting records to both save time and improve accuracy.

Do you need a CRM system? Are you still entering purchase invoices manually into the accounting records? Would it be useful to chase debtors automatically? Do you need to track and then bill time?

Are you manually keying data from accounting records into spreadsheets to generate monthly or regular reports?  This was the case recently, whereby the management accounts and reports were highly detailed over 10 – 12 pages in a spreadsheet, and everything was manually keyed from the trial balance. If a change was made to the accounts, figures on several pages needed amending manually – a time consuming and error prone process. This has now been fully automated, and the figures are linked directly to the accounting software – so month end reports are quite literally available at the press of a button.
